He loves to smile, laugh and show off those two dimples. what a flirt with the ladies
He is obsessed with his hands and wants to eat them even when he has a cucho in his mouth
He is still sleeping through the night and can sleep pretty much any where we go...He goes to bed with a smile and greets us in the morning with one.

too funny
Last night we were driving home from a very expensive trip to Sam's club but I think we are set with diapers for at least this month. Agh! So my phone rang with an unfamiliar Utah number. Unless I have your number in my phone from Utah I usually do not get calls from there. Anyway it was a young guy from BYU calling from the alumni association asking for money to donate to their scholarship fund. I have done that for a few years now and was glad to keep doing it....chris not loving the idea of giving more money to BYU-"we pay our tithing already don't we!" does not always know!!
Anyway, the kid gave me the spiel and then asked a few questions about where I was living, updating my information etc. Then he said "what was your major?" Marriage, Family and Human Development I responded and then there was a long pause then he said "well...so I have to fill in this section about work but obviously you are just a mom and not working!"
WHAT!!!
So wrong for many reasons. It is too bad that our society thinks being a mom is not that prestigious. I would hope more from a church university that encourages people to raise children in a FAMILY!
And second, I changed my major because I enjoyed learning about child development and family processes. I spent four years getting a degree in a field that is really important to encourage families to work together and have worked in this field ever since!
I politely responded with Chris yelling in my ear what I should say!! And what I really wanted to say!! But politely said that I have a career and have been working in this field for years and in fact I am not a mother and would appreciate him mailing me the information rather than talking to him any more.
This is not the only time and I am sure not the last time someone will belittle the field of Family Life Education. Someone once commented that I had gotten my degree in four years to learn how to change diapers. Cool!!
In both cases I just laughed....but I am grateful for the information that I learned in college and how that is still growing as I read more, get more training and enjoy learning about all kinds of topics with families, children and their interactions. I feel like I am making a difference in the lives of children, families and hopefully my own with the knowledge that I gained not only from my degree but from experience as well.
The Family a Proclamation to the world "calls upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society."
That means everyone not just in our own families!! Be careful not to judge others and the life and choices that they make. Love it.
on a lighter note!! Boo Boo has been with us for 2 months now and is growing and happy. We love every second of his sweetness.

Easter Sunday
I love Easter Sunday especially with Conference weekend! The weather was so nice and we started Saturday with many errands like laundry, to the public market and cleaning. We hung out with friends and then Sunday stayed home with the baby to enjoy more of the Conference talks! Which were uplifting and motivating.
We saw three main themes: teaching and encouraging the rising generation, remaining faithful in our trials and adversities and many testimonies of the reality and life of our Lord Jesus Christ. Loved it!
Loving the Easter message from our couch at home
Baby cakes gives good, wet kisses!
hello sunshine!
We have had great weather the past couple of days and we've been outside enjoying it!
Saturday we got together with some friends from fostercare. They are the best people in the world and we are so grateful to have them as supports and friends! They always make such great food. This time it was steaks and cajun shrimp on the bbq...yummy!!
