loving the bike rides..

baby K rides his bike at least twice a day. it is really cute. he'll ride fast up to the car where he can see his reflection; "hi baby! how are you? riding bike?"

look how long his legs are now....

you r my sunshine

yep that is us in there with all the sunlight! I will take it. last week we headed to the park by the lake after church. what a great day!

he has the best laugh and just giggles and giggles as you swing him.

we had to check out all the trees, leaves and sticks! run, run.....run!

And now we're done....time to go home! so cute.

cleave...

Visits lately have been really challenging for us but especially for this little man! (who has thinned out like a big boy). We both got our hopes up that this week we would finally move forward with something at court. We have been there for 6+ months! Well, really 28 months since baby K was born but in the termination court 6 plus. Last week we got word that they would be changing judges on us for the 3rd time and that will push us back a month! It does not sound like a big thing, 4 weeks but that means 16 more visits, 4 less Saturdays together and who knows what kind of drama on the visits and after. I know we can make it through this and all will be ok but at the moment I just want to be done. Done for the baby especially. I will leave out the details. Just done!...

Barbara Thompson at last General Conference gave a talk entitled "Cleave unto the Covenants" which I love! I think it was exactly the reminder that I needed.

"Lift up thy heart and rejoice, and cleave unto the covenants which thou has made." D&C 25:13

Which was given to Emma Smith, who was asked to endure so much! To cleave means "to adhere firmly and closely to something." And I know that we are sustained through those covenants through the good times as well as the bad.

going...

going....

gone!!!

you'd think it was summer time already with 80+ degrees no March in upstate NY.

we are loving it....

church members..

We have some really great new members at our church right! this is a group of them going to the temple for the first time. they had prepared family history names and were able to take part in some really great family history work. They are great examples to me and I am so grateful to be a part of their lives and their stories as they continue to live them.

happenings..

this little guy will sit through an entire 30 minutes of Elmo on the laptop by himself. Maybe I should not enjoy it as much as I do but it is so nice to brush my teeth and wash my face without entertaining the wild 2 year old who just wants to unroll all the tp or empty every drawer in the bathroom. Ah! thanks elmo!!

and on Sunday I will be starting a new "calling" at church! I am nervous, excited and just ready to get going. Chris already (he is always a welcome counselor!) jumped in to help by babysitting for our first meeting. He laughed so hard at these little girls. how cute are they all snuggled up! It will be interesting and fun.

and one more of the museum

not that you can tell but we are at the zoo which we both love on nice sunny days. his favorite are the rhinos! both bill and roscoe (which funny enough is one of his little friend's name at church!). we have to walk by them at least 3 x on every visit..."hi roscoe how are you? see you later rhino roscoe." what a little personality!

toy story love

a little christmas video...

I downloaded videos from my phone this week and found this from the busy holiday season! We went to the mall for something and saw Santa and his display! listen for "Santas neigh, neighs" (reindeer of course) "santa hi!" and "ho, ho, ho!" and at the very end he wishes you a "Merry Christmas"
this kids kills me!

our good friends the Lynes family sent us a chocolate advent calendar (it brought a lot of joy throughout the whole month!)
