funny! I sit here blogging tonight in the snow with 30 degree weather. yek! How funny that these pictures were taken last Thursday. He loves, loves playing in the water and I am excited for the summer months. 

a few projects...

I have missed sewing lately and have so many projects I would love to do but these were 2 that I knew I could get done during nap time which is getting shorter and shorter these days.

I have made several different crayon rolls but I liked this one for bigger crayons. We only need a few color options right now (but I could double up with crayons in each flag) for our church bag and really baby K enjoys pulling the crayons out and then putting them back in. I love the fabrics and how it looks gender neutral but classic. It took many 30 minutes to cut and sew.

It was all scrapes of fabric that we have used in other projects which is great because I have no time to shop either....

And this one is a little drawstring bag for all our trucks, trains and dozers and all things that move! Baby K has to carry several of them where ever we go but we lose them easily or his favorites get mixed up in the bag. Plus we will be traveling this summer and I wanted a more organized place to put them all.

again a 20 minute project from fabric and yarn that I already had! It felt good to pull out some fabric and the machine again!

more Easter

how cute are these 2...we had a great long weekend and were just glad to spend some uninterupted time together. the zoo, an egg hunt, lots of candy, naps, no visits and even a movie! it was really fun!!

Happy Easter! I cannot tell who is liking the new IPad better Chris or the baby! I woke up from a nap, yes a nap on Sunday to the sounds of laughing, toy story and to this scene...letters and numbers all over the floor. They were having fun!

we survived our 1st primary activity-the easter party but the baby's glasses did not...

We took some pictures in the baby's Easter clothes while trying to help him find eggs. he was not that excited until he realized there was candy inside. still not too into the hunt of the eggs. what a cutie!! We love him so much....

Niagara Falls

We had a free weekend! I cannot remember the last time we had a weekend unscheduled. Well, really we just skipped out on what we were supposed to do so it was not unscheduled but bio mom canceled ahead of time and we made plans.

We can remember this fondly even though it was one of the worst weekends ever!

Our court date was pushed back again. May 7th! oh the joys. I think it has been really good to be so busy and consumed with Primary because I am going a little nuts.

I still cannot believe this happened to me....we are still laughing about it!

Last week we went to the zoo and then had lunch before a visit so when we got to the center I had to pee like crazy and he needed a changed diaper. They have a really nice play area with toys and even a TV which they usually play fun movies on as well as a bathroom right next to the waiting room and security desk etc. anyway, I quickly changed the baby and sat down to go, pants down in the middle of the action, baby K decides he is done waiting and flings open the locked door! I am still not sure how he did that but he was gone playing with toys in seconds. And I without thinking mind you, stood up to close the door! Since I was exposed for all the van drivers, secretaries and security guards to see. In the process of doing this (without thinking part) I peed all over the floor and shoes and pants on my way to the door. ah! It was a long walk. How awful!! When I finally got cleaned up and came out the room and waiting room were empty. I think everyone was embarrassed for me! What can you do!! but laugh.

He makes me laugh so hard every day! I love it...and well lets be honest sometimes he makes me cry too! He is very expressive with his little cubby fingers. This picture captures it, too cute.
