Packer trip

nona and nono came to visit!



We spent a day at the public market and the lilac festival....which was way too hot to enjoy and because of the heat most of the lilacs were gone but we still enjoyed a few. As well as some really great fresh food from the market.

we had a great time this year at the lilac festival.....i think the blossoms get more beautiful every year!

many different kinds of lilacs; blue, purple, white and deep pink!

we used to live right by this park and loved running through it. so many memories on elmwood!

there are all kinds of venders with homemade items, jewlery, photography and other crafts.

this year there was a pretty famous country singer--jamey johnson (not a huge fan but fun to listen to for a while)

these are my favorite...bluish-purple and they smell so good...
